Mark Tomlinson is a local with deep roots in the area. His family moved to Scottburgh in 1977. Tomlinson matriculated from Scottburgh High School in 1990 as Head Boy. He attended the University of Natal where he graduated with a BA and LLB degree. He was admitted as an attorney in 2007 and opened his own firm the following year.

Tomlinson’s present focus areas are RAF claims and Criminal Defence Litigation. He follows in his father’s footsteps as his father, Patrick Tomlinson was a Regional Magistrate who sat at the Scottburgh Court and retired in 1998 after 40yrs service to the Department of Justice.
